But how some got it killed.

It wanted to thrive,

But instead we’re thrilled.

They say emotions make you alive,

But mine were killed.

I wanted to cry?

But was just thrilled.

They say knowledge was immortal,

But instead was killed.

Libraries were burned,

Intellectuals were thrilled.

They say truth is immortal,

But instead was killed.

Power was the cause,

And commoners were thrilled.

They say god is endless,

But he too was killed.

He wanted to be in their heart,

But the greatest himself was thrilled.
